Portuguese is the official language. It’s important to emphasize that it is Brazilian Portuguese which is spoken in Brazil. Why is this important? The spelling, verb, tenses and terminology vary between European and Brazilian Portuguese. The choice of words can sometimes be completely different especially for technical documents.
